Social Media Strategist – Florida (Dream Job Alert!)

A top-performing aesthetic device client is looking for a Social Media Strategist who can use their creativity and connections to make magic happen for their brand. They need someone whose working life looks like a juggler at the circus, constantly learning and improving while maintaining perfect balance.

They are seeking a skilled social media strategist to help them build ad campaigns that capture prospects’ attention and engage existing customers.

What We’re Looking For

We need an expert, not just someone who loves making TikToks and posting updates on Instagram. Can you quickly create event flyers with fun fonts, pictures, and product-related content?

The ideal candidate will be located anywhere in Florida and professionally using social media platforms extensively in their current role. Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok is essential.

This role is not for the faint of heart. Travel will be required to events throughout Florida. This position is primarily a lead generator based on your social media posts.

Responsibilities

  • Design social media content
  • Design flyers
  • Video editing
  • Social media ad management
  • Website editing of existing content
  • Managing multiple doctors’ social media accounts and content
  • Building successful advertising campaigns
  • Changing out themes for company events
  • Attend all events (2-3 per quarter)
  • E-blast campaigns
  • Collaborate with the director of sales
  • Stay up to date with media trends and lead generation
  • Manage multiple social media accounts

Important: You cannot have any other side gigs—this needs to be your full-time job.

$75k base, $10k a quarter for bonus, for a total of $115 at year’s end, plus full benefits- no car allowance- gas reimbursed and food reimbursed for all events, company pays for the hotel. Reimburse for flights when flying is needed.

  • Can you walk me through how you’d build a campaign asset in Canva—from concept to export?
  • Have you ever created branded templates for a team to use in Canva? What did that process look like?
  • Can you make a flyer on the spot with limited info to go off of?

Performance & Optimization

  • Which KPIs do you track to measure video or post success?
  • How do you use audience insights and analytics to refine future video content?
  • Can you share an example of a high-performing video and what made it successful?
  • What’s your approach to A/B testing video content?

Platform-Specific Expertise

  • How do you tailor video content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn?
  • What trends are shaping short-form vs. long-form video strategy in 2025?
  • How do you ensure accessibility and inclusivity in your video content (e.g., captions, localization)?

Collaboration & Leadership

  • How do you work with creative teams, stakeholders, or clients to align on vision and execution?
  • Describe a time you had to advocate for a video-first approach in a traditionally static content environment.

Strategy & Campaign Planning

  • How do you develop a video content strategy or flyers for a new brand, product, or event?
  • What factors influence your decision to cover a conference or launch party with mobile video?
  • How do you decide which moments to capture live vs. post later?
  • Describe a time you had to pivot your video strategy mid-campaign—what triggered the change and how did you adapt?

Production & Creative Direction

  • What’s your approach to capturing compelling footage in dynamic, unpredictable environments like launch parties or forums?
  • How do you balance creative storytelling with brand guidelines, sponsor expectations, and platform constraints?
  • What mobile tools or apps do you use for filming, editing, and post-production?
  • How do you prep your phone gear (lighting, audio, stabilization) for different types of shoots?
  • Can you walk us through your creative process from concept to final post?

Video Performance & Optimization

  • Which KPIs do you track to measure video success across different platforms?
  • How do you use real-time engagement (likes, shares, comments) to adjust your posting strategy?
  • What’s your process for reviewing analytics and applying insights to future content?
  • Can you share an example of a high-performing video—what made it resonate with viewers?

Video Platform-Specific Expertise

  • How do you tailor your content for TikTok vs. Instagram Reels vs. YouTube Shorts?
