About the Opportunity
Breaking into aesthetic device sales is competitive. This role is designed for candidates with proven outside sales experience, specifically those requiring daily cold calling, in‑person prospecting, and direct sales to business owners or high-level decision-makers.
Important: If your experience is primarily in patient-facing aesthetic roles (esthetician, RN, MA, injector, front desk, etc.) or in relationship-based roles without cold calling, this position is not a good fit. Aesthetic device companies require current, proven outside sales experience.
This Territory Manager role is the entry point into the aesthetic device industry. It’s a “hunter” position focused on generating new business, opening doors, and driving revenue through persistent, strategic outreach.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct daily in‑person cold calls to private practice physicians and aesthetic businesses.
- Deliver in-office product pitches, demos, and presentations.
- Navigate gatekeepers and secure meetings with high-level decision-makers.
- Manage the entire sales process, including complete installations. (Note: Clinical training for injectors, NPs, or PAs is conducted by a separate representative.)
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Research and identify new prospects daily (e.g., mapping zip codes, identifying practices, gathering contact info).
- Drive throughout the territory daily to meet with potential customers.
- Sell consumable products.
- Partner with internal teams for advanced demos and closing support.

This role sells exclusively to private practice physicians, including:
- Dermatologists
- Plastic Surgeons
- OB/GYNs
- Family Practice
- Urologists
- Dentists
- Ophthalmologists
- Chiropractors
- Wellness centers
- Medical spas
- Aestheticians
- ENT practices
- Other cash‑pay or procedure-based specialties
Note: These devices are not sold into hospitals. Candidates with hospital‑based sales backgrounds are typically not selected for this role.
Required Background
To be considered, you must currently be in a role that includes:
- Daily outside sales activity
- Cold calling (in person and by phone)
- Selling a product or service directly to a business owner or decision-maker
- Prospecting new accounts every day
Examples of strong feeder industries include:
- Cintas, Unifirst
- Paychex, ADP, Paycom, Insperity
- Tom James (custom clothier)
- Wine & spirits distributors (e.g., Southern Glazer’s)
- Copier & printer sales (Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, Kyocera, Sharp, Konica Minolta, Staples)
These industries mirror the capital‑equipment, B2B, high-activity nature of aesthetic device sales.
Not a Fit For
This role is not suited for candidates whose experience is primarily:
- Pharmaceutical sales (relationship‑based, not capital equipment)
- Inside sales or account management only
- Patient-facing aesthetic roles (esthetician, RN, MA, injector, laser tech, etc.)
- MedSpa or dermatology office staff without outside sales experience
- Roles focused on servicing existing accounts rather than generating new ones
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2–7 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in true outside sales
- Highly driven, competitive, and comfortable with rejection
- Willing to travel throughout the territory daily and stay overnight when needed
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, high-activity environment
- Strong presentation skills and confidence in selling high-ticket products
