Aesthetic Post Sales Support-Practice Success Manager-Seattle

This is an opening for Post-Sales Support -Practice Development Manager- Practice Success Manager – Key Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Practice Development Specialist or Business Development Manager.  Each of my clients call this position a different title.

These Aesthetic Practice Support openings are for candidates with aesthetic experience. This experience can come from aesthetic companies, skincare sales, injectable sales, plastic surgeons, Dermatologist or Med Spa. Sometimes even working as an office/patient coordinator at a dentist office may have some of the experience required. There is a very slight chance you can get hired for this position without any aesthetic experience but it is extremely rare.

These Aesthetic Business Development roles are for a rep that goes in after the aesthetic device has been sold to a private practice and works directly with the practice or doctor’s office to upsell second systems or devices, sell consumables or disposables, help the practice with marketing the device they just purchased, create events, sometimes educate the practice on how to do before and after photos, work with them on their social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, their website and more. This rep will go in and re-engage with the staff frequently.

Here’s what I need for this role.

Experience as a Business Development Manager, Account Management, Practice Management, Clinical Advocacy, Patient Care Coordinator, treatment Coordinator or any of the titles I listed in the first section. Practice Marketing experience selling into the aesthetics industry(cash-pay) preferred. If you have experience in one of these areas, they can teach you the rest. Employees that are working at a plastic surgeon, dermatologist or medspa will work well in this positions. Employees that are working at any of the major aesthetic device companies, injectable companies and skincare companies will be a great fit for these positions.  Estheticians will not be considered for this type of role if you do not have a sales experience in your current job or have previous sales experience. For example if you are just giving facials or are an injector at a medspa- I am unable to get you placed in this type of role.  I do not place estheticians or injectors – I only place outside sales reps.

Marketing -dermatology/plastic surgery/skincare sales experience is a plus.

All of these openings will require current social media experience. If you are not the type of person that is posting to Instagram – these roles are not going to be a fit for you. Some of my clients will need to see your Instagram when I submit you. Some of my clients will make you prepare a presentation in the interview using powerpoint, Word, social media and design tools to show how you could launch an open house or promotional event for one of their clients. If you are currently not active on social media for your personal use or are not currently promoting your current company this may not be a fit for you. I prefer someone that has experience with Canva or other tools for assisting in making social media background pages and designs, and promoting events on social media. If you have done launch parties, open houses, trade shows etc., then that experience is helpful.

Working within large territories requiring frequent travel to meet with customers. If your territory has multiple states, expect frequent overnight travel for these roles.

If you have loved ones that depend on you in the evening are are needed to be home every night to tend to these loved ones, this may not be the role for you. I tell my candidates to expect 2-3 overnights a week for territories that have 3 or more states. You will have to tend to the clients in each of the states in your territory and this may take several days to complete.

These positions have a monthly quota, so you will be required to sell.   The total compensation depends on the client and depends on how big your territory is. This particular territory will most likely have an on target earnings of $130k or higher after commissions. The base is $80k. The car allowance ranges from $650/mo.  Fuel or mileage is reimbursed. Laptop-iPad, cell phone expense, 401K medical benefits etc. are all provided with these roles.
