more about the role –
This opportunity is for a rep that goes into the Practice after the device has been sold and works directly with the practice or doctor’s office to market, create events, sell consumables, try to up-sell them a new device, teach them how to do before and after photos, work with them on their social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, Twitter, LinkedIn, their website and more. This rep will go in and re-engage with the staff. This rep cannot come into the practice pushy or overly aggressive and salesy. They can’t come in talking to the Docs or about $. They are there to work with the rockstar of the office to help the device they just bought get utilized more.
You can get this type of role in the aesthetics industry if you have worked in the aesthetic industry selling skincare or injectables or as a front desk clerk, patient care coordinator or treatment coordinator at a local plastic surgeon, Medspa or Dermatologist. Also, if you have marketing and social media experience in your current role, you would be considered for this type of aesthetics position. Still, they also want you to have some aesthetic experience for that.
If you are an esthetician or an RN, this will not help you get a job in this position. If you are currently working at a Medspa, Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeons’ office doing treatments on patients, or an RN at a hospital, that is not the experience needed to get into this type of role.
These roles usually require marketing and social media experience. These roles are for the reps that go into the clients’ offices after a device has been sold and work with the practice to help them utilize the device, open houses, events, launch parties, etc. The practices that have my client’s devices need to constantly be promoting them on social media so that their current patients continue to get the treatments done, making money, and making payments for the device. These devices are anywhere from $150,000 to $350,000 and the owners of the Medspas most likely had to take out a loan to pay for the device – Monthly payments can be significant. So, the more patients get the treatments done, the easier it is for the practice to pay the bank for the device.
